The Mack Big Band
Welcome to the web site of the Mack Big Band!
The Mack Big Band is a traditional 17 piece Big Band along with top vocalists available for functions of all shapes and sizes.
The south London based big band have a vast repetoire including arrangements of the music of Count Basie, Glen Miller, Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw and Buddy Rich etc. The band also play contemporary arrangements and are constantly adding new popular tracks such as Wonderwall, Eye of the Tiger etc.
A lot of the arrangements were written for the great british band leader Ken Mackintosh's BBC broadcasts and for his residencies at The Empire (Leicester Square), the Hammersmith Palais, and the Wimbledon Palais.
